Laurie Adams serves as Vice President for Programs at Women for Women International, where she oversees program development and design. She is responsible for WfWI’s country offices and partnerships that serve more than 30,000 women survivors of war annually.
Before joining WfWI, Ms. Adams worked for Oxfam GB, where she was the Director of Women’s Rights, after having managed Oxfam’s country programs in three Africa regions. She previously led ActionAid’s impact assessment, learning, and accountability systems globally. She has more than 25 years of experience in human rights and development, and has a passion for gender justice.
Ms. Adams holds a Masters in Public Policy Management from the University of London, a B.A. in Political Science and Women’s Rights from Dartmouth College, and completed the Advanced Management Program at the Harvard Business School.
